- Dorothy is a bit of a mystery as we do not have a birth certificate or father and mother's details, It is thought that Florence Williams who is the sister of Mary may be the mother, as yet no proof has come to hand. Dorothy had private tuition
instead of attending school due to the fact that her parents owned an Hotel somewhere in Melbourne. Dorothy went to visit her Auntie Ethel, one of Mary's sister in Fortescue St. in Spring Hill, shortly after the end of the first world war. It
was here that she met Victor, who at the time was the postman.
She lived at her daughter, Beat's house, 48 Railway Pde Deer Park, at the time of her death
