Born in Revere, she was raised in Randolph and attended Randolph schools. She had been employed as a stitcher in the garment industry for over 30 years, many of those years at the former Piccento Sportswear Company. She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union and had been a longtime communicant of St. Edward and St. Edith Stein Churches. She enjoyed bowling, line dancing, traveling, and summers spent in Wareham.She was the sister of the late Beatrice Pitts and Thomas Anderson.
