      Doris E. VanDeVelde, 86, of Parkersburg, went to be with the Lord June 20, 2011 from Camden Clark Medicial Center Memorial Campus.
      She was born September 11, 1924 in Morrison Illinois a daughter of the late Paul Janvrin and Mable (Robertson) Janvrin .
      She was a Member of St. Johns Methodist Church in Vienna, WV and the Red Hat Society. She worked as an Industrial Nurse for North Western Steel and Wire in Illinois and Burgess Battery in Freeport Illinois.
      She was survived by her daughter; Jane Mead of Olympia, Washington, two sons; Dale VanDeVelde and wife Marcia of Davisville, West Virginia and Steven VanDeVelde and wife Sandy of Rancho Cordova, California, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
      In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Clarence R. VanDeVelde, two brothers, one son, one grandson, and one very special friend Ed Napier.
      Cremations services entrusted to The Leavitt Funeral Home Parkersburg, West Virginia. Threre will be no services or visitation at this time. Online condolences may be sent to the family @
